WordPress Troubleshooting

Common issues and how to resolve them.

Connection Test Fails​

  • Check URL format. Ensure the site URL includes https://.
  • Verify API key. Confirm the API key is correct and copied without extra spaces.
  • Confirm plugin is active. Ensure the Rankioz SEO plugin is activated in WordPress.

Publishing Fails​

  • Check WordPress user permissions. The API key user must have permission to create and edit posts.
  • Verify site accessibility. Ensure your WordPress site is publicly accessible and not behind a firewall blocking Rankioz.

Plugin Not Found​

  • WordPress version. Ensure WordPress 5.0 or higher is installed.
  • Manual upload. If the plugin does not appear in search, try uploading the plugin ZIP manually.
